Data-Driven Instruction
The Data-Driven Instruction workshop is designed to provide educators with the knowledge, skills, and systems necessary to use data to inform and improve instructional practices. The workshop is grounded in the belief that data analysis is an essential component of effective teaching, and that using data systematically to inform instruction leads to improved student outcomes. Participants will learn how to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform instruction, with a focus on using formative assessment data to guide instructional decisions. You will explore various types of data and learn how to use data to identify student strengths and misunderstandings. The workshop will also cover strategies for using data to set instructional goals, monitor student progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional strategies. Participants will learn how to use data to identify areas for improvement in their own teaching practices and will leave with practical tools and resources to support their ongoing data-driven instructional efforts.
